The webinar has an excellent panel of speakers, including veteran business owners and experts in veteran entrepreneurship from both the government and nonprofit sectors, ready to help vets and nonveterans alike who are interested in starting their own business. These speakers will be part of the watch party and can answer audience questions. Speakers include:

Cassandra Alvarez – Associate Commissioner of Public Private Partnerships, NYC Department of Veteran Services

Veteran business owners Kyle and Amanda Gourlie, co-founders of The Vet Chef in Everett, WA

Sara Laszaic, founder of the Badges United Foundation

The webinar is free and open to all members of the public regardless of veteran status. It will be held on 9/8/20 at 2pm EST on the Veterans History Project’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/315584736166032/
