So I recently started up a company that does home inventorying for high end homes. We're doing some things that haven't been done in this industry before through using VR and other technologies. For those who aren't familiar with this type of business, we basically go in and photographically document all the contents in one's home for insurance purposes.
My main concern is about how our customer flow on the website right now, which is currently being built. Right now, I am thinking it will go – 1) click “book now” button 2) register with name, email, password 3) fill out short survey about the size of their home, location, etc 4) auto generate quote based on the size of the home 5) schedule service 6) pay 10% down then the remainder on the day of service.
Does anyone see any issues with this? I was thinking about putting the payment before scheduling, but I'm still not 100% sure. Any advice is appreciated! Please let me know if you want more information on what we do and I would be happy to share with anyone.
