Hello everybody! I’ve recently opened my online business. I’ve created my account on different social media channels, such as Instagram and FB. At the moment, I’m working on my website. So far, it was enough to have only my accounts on social media. Still, I decided to take another step and develop my business further. Still, I had made one mistake when I created a website. You can find about it by reading my post. In the meantime, I would like to ask you how to promote a website and make it enjoyable for my customers?
As most of you already know, this number one rule says to never do business with your friends. I finally understood why people keep saying that. So, the issue is that I’ve made this silly mistake and ask a good friend of mine to help me with creating a website for my business. He did it for free, and now I regret asking him. So, basically, my friend made a website for my business from scrap, and I’m not happy with it.
I’m not going to post any screens here because I feel a little bit embarrassed about how my friend presented my business. Overall I can say that the color scheme looks awful. Everything is in black and red colors. It makes it hard to read the info, and everything looks like a school project by a high school student in 00’s. Well, what should I have expected from the free-of-charge web designer? It is only my fault. So, anyway, I have to hire someone to fix it for me. I’ve read from this website — https://adamfard.com/ how vital is the UI and UX interface for any online store. Besides, I’ve read about the techniques they implement, and it seems like a good strategy.
Anyway, I think that the right design and UI and UX and everything related to it are not enough to have a successful business online. I wonder if there are any tools or techniques on how to promote a website and boost sales? I know how it works on social media channels, but I suppose it is a slightly different process for websites. What do you think? Besides, is the design of an online store where you buy stuff important to you?
