[D] Is Feature Engineering the most important part of machine learning?

Hi guys,

I'm wondering about your opinion about this question – Is Feature Engineering the most important part of machine learning? – I see tons of tutorials and posts about hyper-parameter tuning but not so many about the feature engineering. I think it's because hyper-parameter tuning seems to be easier to explain and to show quickly some results for viewers. But yesterday I found great course on Udemy about feature engineering and I have this feeling that feature engineering is far more important than tuning model parameters.
