Pastel colour schemes are trending right now and I think they look great, I've been a big fan for ages.
However, there's little contrast (due to the lack of saturation) almost by definition which means that any colour palette I've come across has accessibility issues everywhere.
Has anyone come across any colour schemes or techniques to have the best of both? A website with a pastel colour scheme while remaining accessible? Presuming this isn't possible (which is what my research would suggest thus far), does anyone have any tips on using non-pastel text colours in a way that won't be jarring?
