Best Tech Startup Location

I've been working on an idea for a tech startup. I'm a non tech… sort of. I'm a mechanical engineer with experience in quite a few things, but I'm not going to write the next million dollar line of code.

At first, I saw my idea through the lens of an industry that I'm well connected to and then scaling it from there but quickly ran through scenarios and realized that it needed to serve the parent market from the get go. This means it needs a tech team very early.

I'm looking at moving to a place with a more tech minded population. There's some tech where I live but the culture sucks and has a weird vibe when in comes to business. This start up is geared towards outdoorsy active kind of people so a place that has a population that is techy and is at least aware, supportive, etc of this general market/customer base would be ideal.

What places have you been/lived/heard of that you recommend checking out?
